I think that the target audience for this film and the cover of this magazine is at an audience between the ages 15- 20 years old due to the nature of the cheerleader outfit as it presents her as a college student so maybe students would like to see a film about students. This magazine is for both genders as the females will relate to the female actress whereas males may objectify her and be persuaded to watch the film.
The long shot of the actress allows us to view the whole actress and it could be said that the magazine purposely does this in order to objectify her as she has a lot of her body on show. The three colour rule is used on this magazine as they have used red, blue and white, the colour red usually has connotations of blood and danger which suggests the horror genre of the film shown on the cover. The masthead is the largest and boldest font on the cover which makes it stand out from all the over text as the the magazine may have an established audience so it is important to make there product name stand out.
One of the cover lines stand out in red and relate to the main image used 'The Deadly Megan Fox' which again suggests the horror element to the narrative of the cover. I think the narrative of this cover is of a girl who has an evilness about her or in her and due to this evil she will kill those around her in this case I believe she may kill her fellow college students.
I think she is represented as quite a normal and innocent college student as she wears a cheerleader outfit which suggests she has hobbies etc however the blood that is on her hand suggests she will be the villain of the film a she could possibly have killed someone. Due to the look of boredom shown on her face shows she feels what she is doing is normal.
