My Research and Planning starts in September and my Evaluation begins in March. You can find my final film poster, magazine and trailer at the top of my blog.

Research and Planning: Proposals/ Meeting 2

First Idea: A mysterious stalker begins to follow a teenage girl.

Mise-en-Scene:
-A wooden Shed with a collection of photos of the teenage girl
-Underground car park
-Busy place e.g. shopping centre or college
-The teenagers house (looking through the window)
-His house (personal tutor of the girl)
Editing: 
-Slow editing in the beginning as it sets the scene
-Fast editing towards the end when the action is building
-Straight cuts
-Jump cuts
-Fade at the end (suspense)
Cinematography: 
-Close ups of victim face
-Close ups of villain
-Long shots of the villain to portray him to be in the distance, but still watching
-Pan of the scene
-High angles looking down at the victim to show vunerability
-Low angles looking up at the villain to show his power and dominance
Sound:
-Screams of the girl
-Footsteps of the stalker
-Heavy breathing

Second Idea: Within a group of friends, one of the friends is hiding a secret. She is completely obsessed with another friend and wants to be her, she makes it her mission to isolate the girl from the others, kill her then become her.

Mise-en-Scene:
-College
-A house party at the beginning, show a montage of the group all having a good time
-A wooden shed
-Modern day
  Editing: 
-Straight cuts
-Montage
-Dissolves
-Jump cuts
-Shot reverse Shots
Cinematography: 
-Close ups of reactions and emotions to show group dynamics
-Point of view shots
-Medium shots
-Over the shoulder shots
Sound:
-Recordings of the girl who is being preyed on
-Screaming
-Girly light hearted music at the beginning
-Banging doors


Third Idea: A Halloween party gone wrong, when everyone is pretending to be somebody they are not, who is the true killer?

Mise-en-Scene:
-A factory for the party scene
-A street
-A police car
-Somebody's house where they are getting ready for the night ahead
-Costume of Halloween outfits

  Editing: 
-Fast pace
-Straight cuts
-Jump cuts

Cinematography:
-Close ups
-Wide shots
-Tight framing
Sound:
-Screaming and shouting for help
-Knife slashing
-Loud party music
- Phone ringing, trying to get hold of the police
