This task was important as Garage Band will be how we make the score for our film trailer. I have managed to play around on the tools and gain some moderate skills. I have an understanding of how to work it now. Our task was to make a short piece of music made up of sounds that can be classed as the genre of the trailer you are going to make. As I am making a film trailer of the horror genre I made sure to include sounds that have associations with horror films for example a door creaking, a telephone ringing, a church organ. All these sounds help to create an atmosphere in a film, I think that it is clearly the horror genre however it was only a quick task so isn't as well made as it could have been.
