Today my group had the first serious meeting about the film trailer we are going to produce and discussed the ideas. I am working in a group of three with Bethan O' Rourke and Alice Jones. I have taken the role of Mise-en-Scene which means I shall be dealing with setting, props, costumes and make up as well as lighting. Alice Jones has taken the role of Cinematography so she will be focusing on shot types, angles and distances. Bethan O'Rourke has taken the role of Editing which means she will be editing the footage after we have filmed it and making sure the transitions work smoothly. We have the split the role of Sound between the three of us where we will focus on diegetic and non diegetic sound and sound effects for the trailer.
We have decided as group that we are going to go with first plot idea featured on our pitch to create a horror/thriller about a stalker.
