Thank you for all the feedback you have given throughout the year, it is appreciated and has helped me a lot.

Research and Planning: Meeting About Filming
Me and my other group member Alice Jones have met up and discussed the best time to film the other scenes for our trailer. We need to organise getting a car to the car park on time and making sure that the actors we have are all available and can be on scene for the correct times. We have organised to film our car scene on Sunday 6th January 2013. The camera is charged and ready to be used. This is just an estimate day for filming as external factors may prevent us from doing so.

Research and Planning: Magazine Front Cover Shot Types
When looking at magazine covers for research in the making of my own film magazine cover, I saw these three covers and I liked the shots and the positioning.
Research and Planning: Cinema Visit (Wednesday 2nd January 2013)
Today I have been to the cinemas and watched two films of different age ratings, I wanted to see what types of trailers were shown before the film started.
The first film I watched was 'Pitch Perfect' which is rated a certificate 12A. The trailers that were shown alongside this film were 'Wreck it Ralph' PG, 'Cirque De Soleil' PG, 'Warm Bodies' 12A and 'Les Miserables' 12A these are all films of the same age ratings or just under. All these genres are quite varied which suggests it is attempting to show a range of films in order to attract a broader audience to visit the cinemas again.
The second film I watched was 'Life of Pi' which is rated a certificate PG. The trailers shown before this film were also PG films. Although neither of these films are the same genre film of mine or the same age rating I found it interesting to see what recent films were out and the way other films are advertised around these films.
For my film magazine I am thinking about using other films to promote on my cover, I haven't decided whether to use a range of film genres to get a wider audience or focus on my specific genre films to make a special edition.

Research and Planning: Film Magazine Preparations
Over the christmas holidays I was unable to take an SLR camera home with me as they were being used by other classes. So I am planning to take my photos when we get back to college, I have bought everything I need for the photo shoot and organised with Jess when and where the photo shoot will be.
I have purchased black tape which cost £3.99, lip liner £5.00 and red paint £1.99.
I want the photos to be taken with a plain background so that I can cut out the photo from the plain background and place it on the magazine cover. I could then take various photos of scenery and use that as the background.
