I hope you enjoy having a look at my A2 blog which I have created this year.
My Research and Planning starts in September and my Evaluation begins in March. You can find my final film poster, magazine and trailer at the top of my blog.
Thank you for all the feedback you have given throughout the year, it is appreciated and has helped me a lot.

Research and Planning: Animatic Storyboard
Research and Planning: Prop Organisation Conversation
As part of my groups trailer we have decided to film part in an underground car park where the stalker/villain will put the victim in the boot of his/her car. Therefore I will need to organise the use of a car. I have asked my friend Lauren if we can use her car for this scene and she has agreed to this. I have now got this prop and the car will be available to me when I ask to use it for the trailer.
Research and Planning: Audition Poster
I have created an audition poster on photoshop and posted it around college as the actors and actresses that we need for our film trailer will mostly be aged 16-19 therefore we have an ideal cast at college. I will audition anyone who comes on the day and choose whether to cast them in our film trailer if they are suitable for the role/character.
I have taken pictures of the various places I have placed the poster around college, hopefully I will get a lot of people to see the poster and become interested in participating. The pictures are displayed above.

Research and Planning: Horror Makeup
I have found this photo and thought the process in which she changed was interesting, not only was her make up done but she also has a wig on; both of these together seem to totally transform her face so that she looks like a different person.
This link is for a BBC tutorial of how to make a cut on the arm from using makeup, I may take this into consideration when using make up in my trailer. I could ask my group whether the slight violence we show in the trailer will then show the consequences of the violence i.e. a cut.
Research and Planning: Today's Conversation/ Meeting 3
Today I was sat with my group and we were discussing our animated storyboard, this meant that we would have to take about shots. As I am Mise-en-Scene manager I was also thinking of more possible locations for our trailer. As the plot is based around a stalker, I feel it is important to include many locations to make it seem like the stalker is everywhere and knows the places his victim is 24 hours a day. I thought and presented the idea of using the train station near our college as one of the locations as I think it is very creepy at night and would look very effective when we include the train tracks, rushing train going past, dripping from the ceiling and low lit tunnel in the trailer. The other location I asked my group about using was the large park near our college as it can be a very isolated area at times due to the layout and how many trees surround the area, this would create a scary atmosphere.
Therefore the seven locations our group will now be using are:
- College building (both inside and outside)
- The stalkers shed hideout
- The victims house
- The victims street
- Train station
- Park
- Underground car park

Research and Planning: Audition Call
I have posted an audition call on twitter as I want to great as many people auditioning for the character roles in my film trailer. As well as this I will be creating a poster and posting it around college, I think with both of these things together it will generate a good diverse cast.
